Since its beginning in 1978, Dixie Electric, Inc. built a trusted name as an industrial and commercial electrical contractor along the Gulf Coast. Founded by Gene Flash, and eventually led by brothers Curtis and Mike Flash, and long-time family friend, Tim Markle, Dixie earned a reputation for reliability, integrity, and safety. In 2025, DXI Electric acquired Dixie, and new owners Jimmy Shea, Charlie Shea, and Kerby Wheeler look to carry that legacy forward – honoring the past while building a stronger, more innovative future for the communities and industries served.
